Today is a special day... my birthday.

Received some calls & sms from family, friends and even my foster mother.

Tonite, no celebration...coz I need to work and host for a client's wedding reception of 80 tables. Hopefully I can do it well as I have high expectation on this wedding.

And last year I hosted wedding dinner too. That means my every birthday, is a good day :)

Best of luck to me, stay healthy always, happy and with good business....fingers crossed!

After all the thing I have done for her, all the presents I have bought for her, I got a comment from this very lover: "You never thought of anyone else..."
This is absolutely, definately a shit I am getting myself.

I have nothing to say and it is her decision for this.
NO!!! It was OUR decision for this conclusion.
Sometimes when I think of her, I am gonna feel pain...but I know this is the way out for a better future for you and me.

First day of New Year, Ollie still need to work. I met up with my wedding clients around 4.30pm in Kota Damansara.

After the meeting, I went to her house and fetch her to Chow Yang Pasar Malam (today is Thursday!)About two years didn't go to this pasar malam already...Glad to have bought a lot of things! After the pasar malam walk, we went to Kota Damansara to have Taiwan Chicken Chop for dinner. She said the Taiwan Chicken Chop is nice. But for me...it was too salty :(

I had a wondrous 1st day of New Year today...I hope everything going smooth for 2009.

金牛年来啦~

LONG TIME NO SEE!!!

I miss my blog so much...the last post was around Aug 2007, if I don't take the effort to create a new post today, that means I post nothing in year 2008!
Conclusion for 2008, I am quite satisfied for what have I done so far. I hope year 2009 will be a better and brilliant one for me as well.

Also, I dedicate the best wishes to my family members and all my friends. I hope we all stay healthy, lucky and HAPPY in the new year 2009!

This is a very meaningful date to Oliver - 21082007.
As it was the final time for me to visit Sheffield~ Peak District.
My friend told me "Ollie, Sheffield is your 2nd home in the UK, besides Liverpool." And I agree.
Let's go Peak Dsitrict, this way!

The Peak District is an upland area in central and northern England, lying mainly in northern Derbyshire, but also covering parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, and South and West Yorkshire. And the Peak District area is so so so BIG that when you see there is a large green land with sheeps, it is probably one part of The Peak District :)
Having fun in Camel Club in the previous night, and slept for ONLY 2 hours, I took the earliest train to Sheffield meet my buddy at 6am. And the we started our trip! We walked & climbed for 2 hours, finally we reached the Lavender Heaven...

Visting York ~ 19/8/2007

I had a great trip visiting York with my friends last Sunday.

York is a city in North Yorkshire, England, at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss. It is the traditional county town of Yorkshire, to which it lends its name. However, it did not form part of any of the three historic divisions of Yorkshire; known as ridings (East Riding, North Riding and West Riding).

3 most popular tourist attractions of York are York Minster, Clifford's Tower & York Castle Museum. For me, I was "lured" into York because of Clifford's Tower, after seeing my friend's photos.

In a nutshell, it's worth to visit York! Nice Minster, nice tower, nice museum! But...we took 5 hours coach from Liverpool to York, and 5 hours back from York to Liverpool. That means, 10 hours coach journey in 1 day!!! You dare to go? hehehe...

* Dearest all my sincere friends, who have supported me when I was down in these two days, oliver wants to express his heartfelt gratitude to you all. I was totally gone yesterday, didn't know where was i, what i was doing and what i supposed to do.

Several friends from Liverpool, from KL, Taiwan & Scotland, a short chat with you guys really brightened my life here. And it made me realised how VITAL friends meant to me in this world!

The bad feeling was awful...

"dont wallow in self pity, sorry i maybe frank, but i dont think u have time to feel sad." This is what you told me, and I found it very true.

Give me two days, in this weekend. I will recover from the wound that hurts me so lots. I know when i recovered, there will still a scar deep in my heart. Maybe it should serve as a reminder to me, for what should I do, and what I SHOULD NOT do in the future.

It was 9.00pm.
I woke up and got a miss call at 7.30pm from my friend, and I returned call.
My friend reserved a nice and delicious soy sauce chicken with potatoes dish for me, cooked by his friend.
So kind of him, heartfelt appreciated.
I quickly cooked some rice and sweet corn soup then enjoyed my dinner.
The chicken dish is damn delicious and tasty! It was like my mum's cooking...
It has been months away from home.
That's why i said, 有家的感觉。。。
Million thanks! My friend!

Examination in Moot Room ~ 1/8/2007
This is Moot Room, it is a church in my uni campus in John Foster Building.
The feel is nice, having exam in a church.
The windows, the wall...it's just a church.
It was 6.30am, 6 of us already sat in the Moot Room and selected the BEST SEATS for our exam which started at 10am! We were the fisrt to reach exam hall. Kia Shu? No lar...hahaha, it's rajin je...

This paper is International Operation Management.
We were allowed to bring in a piece of Case study distributed by our lecturer 1 week ago.
Again, we were allowed to write some notes on that particular SINGLE PAPER and bring it into the exam hall. Most of the students wrote only the important points on that paper.
BUT...Oliver wrote A LOT!!! Full page with the pencil notes!!! Hurray!
Is he Kia Shu? No....he was just "Making full use of the paper & 'facility' given"...

All of us had a hard & tense period preparing for the exam. Let's celebrate tonight for a steamboat dinner!!!

Finally, 3rd paper exam is over!!!
We celebrated immediately over that night...we gave ourselves a SUMPTUOUS steamboat dinner!
We were so enjoyed... The feeling is like released from the jail.
WE ARE FREE! WE CAN FLY!
Well, you may think steamboat is nothing special in KL. But for those of us who live in Liverpool student hostel, steamboat is like Heaven Food!

After the Alton Towers trip, immediately I visited Manchester on the next day!

What is so special about Manchester?
(a)Old Trafford - Manchester United!
(b)Trafford Centre - The UK's largest shopping mall.
(c)Manchester China Town - Delicioud HK dim sum, yummy!
(d)Manchester Piccadilly Gardens

I went to meet up with my hometown friends, Yen Siang, Daniel and Loke Kee. It has been 10 years that I haven't met up with Yen Siang, 10 YEARS! When we met, we couldn't stop chatting, because both of us are 38 persons :p And also, she has a Wii at home! 1st time I played Wii, damn seronok!!! We played for 4 hours non-stop at her home, wahahaha! She is a good player though.

She brought me to Old Trafford, Trafford Centre and eat HK dim sum in China Town. So nice of her! Million thanks Yen Siang & Daniel. ANd also thanks so much to Loke Kee for accompanying me to shopping on the next day, hehe...

Alton Towers, the UK's best loved theme park, with 2 themed hotels, a waterpark, spa and Extraordinary Golf which consists of two 9-hole adventure golf courses themed around the park's iconic rides and attractions!

We visited on a Saturday, but it was a rainy day! Anyway, it did not affect our trip as all of us PLAYED UNDER THE RAIN FOR 8 HOURS! Hurray!

Personally I love the Theme park games in "X-Sector". Please watch the Oblivion video below, I and my friend played for 3 times! Chi Gek ar~

29th May 2007, 10.30pm, KLIA

We had a dinner on that night and I really enjoyed the fish so much! Then Alvin and Cecilia sent me to airport.

Surprise!!! The deep sea swam to KLIA by giving me A SURPRISE!!! Fei Wen! It was really unexpected for her to come. I am touched, happy and felt so sorry for her (coz she has to drive back home herself late at night then).

3 of my best friends accompanied me to check-in and we chatted a lot. Fei Wen told me a lot of things of Liverpool which I MUST try, see, feel,eat and DO. My feeling was like sooo...looking forward to reach Liverpool, and on the other hand, I felt so sad to leave my family, my best friends and etc.

Thanks for Cecilia, for everything...(especially the 50 pound AngPow..hehe)

DUBAI

Taking the flight for around 7 hours, I reached DUBAI, a country which has attracted world-wide attention through innovative real estate projects - The Palm Jumeirah and sports events. Dubai International Airport just like a KLCC, a shopping heaven...

It was 5.30 in the morning of Dubai time. There were countless of foreigners and visitors from all around the world doing their shopping in the heaven.

~Today is 29th June 2007. I have been here for exactly 1 month. Yea, enjoying my study life so much here and for sure, I miss my family and friends in Malaysia~

Farewell for Oliver (May 2007)

On 18th April 2007, Oliver had made a decision.

Indeed it was a very rush decision. He had decided to futher his studies in the UK next month, after having dinner with Fei Wen. Oh ya Fei Wen, thanks a lot.

It was not a smooth-sailing process for the University Application though... 1 of the clerk of TARc SBS school, talked to me in a very RUDE MANNER, "No No No!!! It's too late already! Try again next year..."(Because for June 2007 intake, students should have registered themselves in November 2006). I was down for a few days coz I thought I can only go by next year. Fortunately our course's Head of Division Ms. Wong and my JMU programme leader Mr. Colin Paul rendered me their helping hands. Million thanks to both of them!!!

By giving a very short notice, I resigned from my job...and prepared myself to LIVERPOOL JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY (JMU).

UK wo lai LaRRRR.....!!! Hahahahahaha....

Many of my best friends and colleagues treated me for farewell meals and dinners. Indeed I am so touched. These are the photos that I always look at when I miss them...(apologies for some photos missed out of my friends...soli)

Days in Harbin & China ^ ^

Visited Harbin, China in Dec'06 with my colleagues - Alvin & Howard. It was freakin cold there! Harbin, is the capital of Heilongjiang and is situated on the Songhua River in the south of the province...
Just imagine, the 1st day in Harbin was -22 celsius!!! WTF~~~
Anyway, it was an unforgettable trip for me...for rest of my LIFE!

It was a splendid time of a year end, when it seemed like we were enveloped by the pristine whiteness of the SNOW~ One has to keep warm to keep safe and enjoy this time of the year. The essence of staying warm in the winter is having proper clothing layers and knowing how to use them effectively... And we happened to buy our winter outfit in Beijing with the help of Faye, my best friend purely, 100% ly from Beijing (indeed she is Howard's gf, hoho).

From January to March every year the Harbin ice festival is the largest tourist attraction in the city. The Chinese art of carving snow and ice is demonstrated with enthusiasm. Fantastic statues, from full size palaces to intricately carved animals, are exhibited throughout the city for the amazement of all who brave the northern winter to visit. And we had our best time of being "The Malaysian Next Top Models", taking photos here and there with the snow carvings and ice sculptures! And what shocked me was that, my comrade cum "private photographer" Mr. Alvin, requested one sumptuous meal for every single shot taken! (It was unbearable yet Unsangkarable -_-'' ) For the nice and handsome photos, here you go...
